Staffing for Academic Year 2025/26

Next year, the staffing structure at Lakeside will be:

Nursery (Cygnets) - Miss Purshouse, Mrs Purshouse,
Reception (Ducklings) - Mrs Lomas/Mrs Youd and Mrs Vale
Year 1 (Owls) - Miss Robertson
Year 2 (Hedgehogs) - Miss Jones, Mrs Hall/Mr Louis and Mrs Downes
Year 3 (Dragonflies) - Mrs Davies and Mrs Sala
Year 4 (Foxes) - Mr Burgess
Year 5 (Badgers) - Mrs Gardner and Mrs Hall/Mr Louis
Year 6 (Swans) - Mr Swift, Mrs Butler
All Classes - Mrs Meads covering teacher’s Planning, Preparation and Assessment time (PPA)

As you will have probably noticed, Mrs Sollis is not included in the list above. For personal reasons, the 7th July will be Mrs Sollis’ last day at Lakeside.

Apart from a very short period in 2019, Mrs Sollis has been a member of staff at Lakeside since 2018 and has
fulfilled many different roles. During her time in school, she has always supported the children with courtesy,
respect, kindness and a with their best interests at heart. She has displayed a caring and nurturing nature to the children who she has worked particularly close with and I know they will miss her as will her colleagues. I wish to thank her personally for all the effort and hard work she has put into her different roles and wish her all the best for the future.

Next week on Wednesday 1st July 2025, the school will be completing its Transition Day. During this day, the
whole school will get to meet their new teachers and move to their new classrooms in preparation for
September. We anticipate that this will be an exciting moment for the children as they prepare for next year.
Next Wednesday (1st July 2025), please still drop your children off and collect them from their usual classroom door NOT their classroom for September.
